Sometimes visiting a new web site can be a little
confusing so perhaps these questions and answers
may help.
We use very few buttons, like that
on the top left that goes Home, images, but
in the main, use text links.
- Buttons may change
to be a little
fainter in colour
as you move your
mouse pointer
across the button
and will also
display some text
to give you an
idea of what may
be reached by
clicking on the
button.
- There are various
text buttons within
some pages, they
look like this.
- Within pages on our
web site you may
find images, such
as that of Trevor
on the home page,
that if clicked
will open another
page for you.
They do not change
in appearance,
although your
mouse pointer
may change from
an arrow to a
hand, but will
display some hint
text. Some images
do not lead to
another page but
to a larger image.
You can close
this larger image
by using the X
in the top right
corner of the
image window or
by clicking on
the image itself..
- Text links are found
at both the top
and the bottom
of this and all
other pages, but
also may be within
the text in a
page. The text
is initially normal
and coloured and
if you run your
mouse across the
text then it will
be underlined
to indicate there
is some where
to go! Once you
have visited a
link it will remain
in normal text
and be stay underlined.
You can still
click on these
links; it's just
changed a little
to help you keep
track - this is
after all a site
of around 500
pages.
- If it is not obvious
from the text
where a link will
take you then
there will be
some 'fly-over'
message as your
mouse pointer
moves over the
text. If you have
change the settings
in your browser
then these colours
may be quite different.
- From the each page
the top links
are section relevent.
But there are
some additional
links depending
upon the section
in this area or
on the page. A
pop-up menu link
seen in Grape
Varieties and
Wine Producers
pages and those
lower on this
page are examples.
- At the base of every
page are the links
to others sections
on the web site
and a link to
a simple page
of links, rather
long, called a
Site Map.
By
e-mail, telephone
or fax or
by using one of
the forms on the
web site or if
you prefer by
post.
Click
the 'Shop', Wine
List or 'Buy Wine'
link on almost
every page and
in certain pages
you can go direct
to the Wine or
Producers page
in the shop.

the web site or
the shop then
