1999 Red Burgundy
A truly superb year. Burgundy produced some really stunning wines in 1999, packed with rich ripe fruit and with beautifully rounded, well-structured tannins.
I have chosen five top class domaines to offer 'en primeur'.
The villages wines will be drinking well in 3 to 5 years and have a life span of some fifteen years.
The Grand Cru will need 6 to 8 years and will be wonderful for many, many years after that.
Please note that these wines are sold 'ex-cellars'. This means that duty, shipment and VAT at the prevaling rate are payable on delivery.
