The village of Bouzy is most famous for the production of a still red wine made from the Pinot Noir grape, the charmingly named Bouzy Rouge. Situated on the Cotes d'Ambonnay 14 miles south of Reims, Bouzy is a Grand Cru village that produces champagne from a high proportion of Pinot Noir.

Pierre and Francoise Sainz-Clouet, like many of the producers we work with, are a charming and hard working couple, who are willing to try new ideas. Clouet champagnes reflect the special character of their exceptionally, well-sited Pinot Noir vineyards, all rated 100% on the cru echelle.
